Ways To Approach
I love the concept of dream adventures because so much of what grounds and binds the regular world can suddenly vanish at the drop of a hat. Logic doesn't need to come into play necessarily and standard physics can take a hike too. Just like in dreams where imagination is key, this poster sparks a whole world of ideas.
There's the potential to create a short one-shot to mini-arc where party members are tasked with fighting off a poor subject's nightmares to save their life, or go full-blown plot arc and have a series of adventures that require hopping in and out of the dream world and where reality itself comes into question.
Me? I would do the latter, where we start with simple tasks early in a campaign for quick gold but have threads of this quest ripple in at later points, probably culminating in a full-on battle against an army of nightmares that can only be defeated once the party are fully able to manifest their imagination in the dream realm.
