Unlike other places, in our new town we don't impose lofty restrictions on the title of Dave, instead, we accept and welcome each of you as you are so that you have the freedom to be the best Dave you can be. Or Alan. Or Sally.

Ways To Approach

Well, it seems as though we have found our Dave... sort of? Probably? This is the conclusion to the series of Dave posters that started off as a twitter joke and became popular enough to prompt a poster. You can see the original poster here and the sequel here. Although who knows... we may yet see Dave again someday. Be sure to stop by Davetown, I'm sure there are likely to be interesting quests!

What would this town look like to many of you? How in the world did Dave manage to fun all of this? Who is their backer? For me it looks as legitimate as any other town in the world, all be it a little bit scarce of people. I wonder if a dragon or other similarly wealthy creature took pity on Dave and decided to invest in this area for them, with Dave acting somewhat as a puppet figurehead. Many of the early quests of this town will be finding people to join in the community as important cornerstones; smiths, carpenters, barkeepers, farmers. But once the town is stable (which can be when you introduce the party to the area), we can introduce some jobs that are just as fun and unusual as Dave; Stealing a tree that they liked the look of from a neighboring town or city, or setting up an elaborate cave "dungeon" with loot and traps to bring in adventurer tourism.

If there was ever a time to get really wild and creative with quests, this is the place to do it!
