Soon comes the time for hedges to be trimmed. Capable persons interested will be offered a generous 5 silver for each area completed.
Inquire with Hayworth at the Hedgewarder’s office by the main square.
Payment subject to cuts based on quality of work. Areas assigned but not completed will incur a penalty of up to 1 silver per area.
Ways to approach
This downtime activity would appeal to the more nature-inclined members of the party, and it gives an insight into the traditional historical method used to keep all the hedges within a town or city well maintained (they would have Hedgewarders). It’s a simple task, though time-consuming, however, if the party member is proficient with plants they may be able to get more done than others! On the other hand, more nosey party members might be privy to the information discussed behind closed hedges, which could be a fun way to foreshadow upcoming plot arcs.
