Ways to approach
As a downtime job, this is well suited to any characters that enjoy spending time in the wilderness but can also be a way for the party to earn extra gold if their quests take them into any surrounding wilds. It won’t necessarily gain them a large amount of gold when paired with a quest but if a character wishes to spend a week as part of their downtime activities pursuing this it can turn out to be quite profitable.
Possible Repercussions
The call is likely being put out because Horgath, the butcher, is low on meats. Indeed the whole area might be low resulting in taverns not having much to offer their patrons. If a particularly adept hunter does take this task on for a full week, adventurers may notice the local morale increase, food quality increases, and meat prices may drop with the extra supply.
