Have You Seen My Wagon?
Pinned to the Notice Board
A dark and dirt-stained parchment with ripped edges is scrawled with the writing:
Have You Seen My Wagon?
[A large ink sketch of a simple open-top wooden waggon with a hitch for two horses takes up a quarter of the page']
The Wagon drove itself off while I was unloading at the market - no driver in its seat, and no horses hitched to the front. I chased it as far as the southern gate but I couldn't keep up as it sped away.
It's an integral part of my livelihood, and very much need it back as soon as possible. Please bring any information to Arryk Farms.
Ways To Approach
Sometimes the fun most adventures don't have to start with a big and dramatic hook full of flair. Sometimes they start with the little, innocuous hooks, other times it's the silly hooks, or both - Like a seemingly sentient wagon riding off into the sunset.
What do you think is the cause of this? Ghosts? An awakened tree-turned-wagon so that it could see the world? A very competitive rival farmer who got their hand on an invisibility potion? This is one of those posters that would do well in silly and comedic games, or even act as a reprieve from the darker moments of serious games. Just as easily it could turn out to be something sinister though.
