Practiced Calligraphers Needed

Our temple is in need of new hymn sheets, and we would be honored if you would use your skill to create beautiful pages, reflecting the glory of the songs on them.

This is quite an undertaking so we are looking for many skilled hands. We will be supplying the ink and parchment, so you would only have to bring your own brushes or quills.

For each page completed you will be paid 1 silver piece.

Seek Silas Mathers at our temple on West Market Road to offer your aid.

Ways to approach

Here’s a little fun for the writers and bards in your group to get a little bit of extra coin in their downtime, as well as maybe some inspiration from these tales as old as rhyme. Perhaps as they’re sifting through the harmonic history laid down in verse your heroes may notice that some interpretations may actually go against established history. Who is right? On the other hand, perhaps something in a player’s backstory is linked to the song depicting a temple’s champion giving the player unique insight into where their lost tomb (and magical armor) may be located!

In a more sinister vein, musicians and spellcasters particularly attuned to the arcane may notice that there’s something special about the ink and parchment provided by the ‘temple’, and any players that follow this or adjacent religions may notice something slightly off about the garb of the clerics here. Investigations may result in an operation by some cultists to sow disbelief amongst the worshippers and instead drag them over to the worship of a corrupted god, thereby shifting the celestial balance of power.
