This poster is attached to my free one-shot, The Forlorn Fort, and is one of its possible plot hooks! In it, your party are hired to find a reasonably powerful relic, although the details provided are minimal, and extra gold is offered if no questions are asked. The quest involves a rival group of treasure hunters, an abandoned fort of undead, and a hidden relic that would be a great asset for any faction at war possibly posing a moral dilemma for your group.
Possible Repercussions
The clearest consequence for the group not taking this quest is the relic falling into the wrong hands whether it’s the shifty Ardumont who is supposedly a member of the Grey Repository and is looking for an edge in a planned uprising, or the rival nation in the midst of an escalating war that plans on vamping up shock troopers before teleporting them into target locations. No matter what, the party will undoubtedly have to face foes that will use the items benefits against them.
