Reward for Hippogriff Eggs.
The Autumn Lance needs your help, adventurers! In a conflict with flighted bandits, our mounts took heavy casualties and as such we are in need of new hippogriffs or griffons. Raising them from hatchlings is required for them to be properly trained, but too many of us are still recovering from battle wounds for the rest of the Lance to go searching and leave our keep undefended.
Should you find any on your travels please bring them with haste to Exodus Keep, or visit us to learn of potential regions to scout.
For every hippogriff egg, we are prepared to offer 2500 Gold Pieces
And for every griffon egg, we can offer 3200 Gold Pieces

Ways to approach
Finding new griffon and hippogriff eggs is going to be a challenge all on its own! One way to approach this is if you already have a quest in mind that incorporates these creatures, then you can have this poster show up at an earlier point in the game. Your heroes might also have the idea to track down these bandits and see if they are raising any of their own - Which is a great idea. Even if you had originally intended the bandits to fly on wyverns, there’s nothing to say you can’t change things up for the sake of your party. Or perhaps if you’d like to add more depth, you can leave a map to potential nesting sites in the bandit camp.
Possible Repercussions
As always, I’m generally not a fan of punishing your players for not pursuing a quest hook, however, some players do like how repercussions can make a world feel alive - In this instance, the Autumn Lance were somewhat of a freelance guard group, and without their aerial mounts, may have a hard time keeping bandit activity down - especially the kind with flying mounts of their own! Players can expect to see these foes making further appearances and establishing a foothold. Without further intervention, the bandits may get so bold as to take over the Lance’s own stronghold!
