Barn Raising This Weekend!
Melwyn Farm is in need of strong and capable folks who would be willing to help in remaking our barn after the old one was destroyed in the storm a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately we cannot pay anybody, but for those willing to donate their time on either, or both, days this weekend;
Heatherfield Orchard is providing FREE CIDER and Aertix Hall is providing FREE FOOD
Performers are also welcome, and will be able to take part in the food, cider, and merriment too! While the destruction of our last barn was tragic, we hope to build this new one as part of a celebration.
Ways to approach
Not all heroes wear capes! Events like this are the perfect opportunity to have your players show the community that they’re here for the good times and the bad, the big and the small. There’s something for any type of player character to do (construction, design, architecture, morale-boosting, cooking, sage advice), so be sure to sprinkle in something that spotlights each player character. Once the locals see the heroes taking part and helping, they’re undoubtedly going to see them in a new light.
